N.J. school St. Patrick sues to reverse tourney ban (USA Today)
St. Patrick High (Elizabeth, N.J.) filed suit in federal court in Newark on Wednesday, seeking to lift the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association’s ban on its boys basketball team at the state tournament. A hearing is scheduled Friday; the playoffs begin Monday.
