The eastern U.S. was hit with a frightful wintry storm Saturday that dumped more than a foot of snow in some areas, hampering travelers heading home and likely deterring shoppers on the weekend before Christmas.
This cat tries to sneak up on this Christmas tree, but gets a little surprise!
Dec. 19 (Bloomberg) — Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad said there’s a 75 percent chance lawmakers will pass a health-care overhaul bill before a Christmas deadline, and that the measure may prove a short-term political drag for Democrats.
It’s known as the “greatest deliberative body in the world,” and with health care reform on the docket, the Senate’s debate on the contentious bill could last through Congress’ Christmas recess.
